DOMINION enters, for the first time, the ranking of Spanish companies that invest the most in R&D according to The EU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard study, the annual report prepared by the European Commission through its Joint Research Centre (JRC).
This ranking analyses the 800 European companies with the highest investment in research and development (R&D) based on their annual accounts, and is one of the main benchmark indicators for measuring the innovative effort of the European business landscape. DOMINION’s inclusion in this classification represents recognition of the work carried out in recent years to integrate technology, digitalisation and continuous improvement across all its lines of activity.
DOMINION understands R&D as a strategic pillar for generating more efficient, sustainable solutions with real impact for its customers and society. For this reason, investment in innovation is part of its growth model and of its way of approaching industry and services.
The 2025 edition of the Scoreboard shows a greater presence of Spanish companies—26 in this edition—six of which are based in the Basque Country, a positive sign that highlights the innovative effort being made by the business sector.
DOMINION will continue working to promote innovation as a key lever of competitiveness, convinced that investment in knowledge and technology is essential to building solid, sustainable long-term growth.
DOMINION’s entry into this European ranking encourages the company to continue moving forward in its commitment to R&D as an essential part of its business project.
