The Challenge
The Zayed National Museum, one of the most iconic cultural projects in the United Arab Emirates, was created with the aim of bringing the country’s history, culture and natural heritage closer to the public through an innovative and experiential approach. To achieve this, two of its key galleries — “Our Beginning” and “Through Our Nature” — were designed and implemented as spaces capable of connecting with visitors through immersive experiences, combining educational content with advanced technology.
The challenge lay in integrating state-of-the-art audiovisual solutions within a unique architectural environment designed by Foster + Partners, ensuring flawless technical execution and a seamless visitor experience.

Through Global Dominion Tech-Energy (GDT), we carried out the full installation of the audiovisual systems in both galleries, delivering a technological solution designed to transform content into experience.
One of the most distinctive elements is the “Through Our Nature” gallery, conceived as an immersive space where technology enables visitors to interact with the natural environment and understand it in a visual and experiential way.
Results
The Zayed National Museum opened its doors in December 2025, becoming a cultural landmark in Abu Dhabi.
The solution developed by DOMINION has enabled the creation of spaces where knowledge is not only observed, but experienced — combining technology and content to generate a deeper connection with visitors.
The technical scope of the project includes:
- 18 large-format high-resolution LED screens
- One main screen measuring 10.8 x 10.8 meters (pitch 1.2), with a resolution of nearly 81 million pixels
- 4 interactive screens for exploring local fauna and flora
- More than 50 projectors with advanced blending and mapping systems
- 22 content servers for audiovisual management
- Content servers for centralized management
- Immersive surround sound systems
Every day, hundreds of visitors walk through these galleries, where technology transforms history and nature into an immersive, visual and interactive experience.
