The project involved the challenge of deploying an early warning infrastructure capable of ensuring immediate communication with communities located in areas potentially exposed to emergency situations.  

The solution needed to combine high availability, energy autonomy, redundant communications and remote monitoring capabilities, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of incidents affecting conventional networks.

This required the integration of multiple technologies into a single coordinated system, capable of delivering a rapid, reliable and permanent response to enhance public safety and strengthen the emergency response capabilities of local authorities and emergency services.

To address this need, DOMINION deployed a turnkey Early Warning System equipped to alert communities in the event of potential risk situations.

The solution includes mass notification sirens installed in areas potentially exposed to flooding, control equipment for remote activation and monitoring of siren parameters, redundant communication systems, and autonomous power solutions based on solar panels and battery storage, ensuring continuous operation independently from the electrical grid.

A dedicated remote monitoring and control platform enables real-time supervision and management of the system from multiple control centres, including operational facilities, emergency response services and SENAPRED regional offices. 

In addition, DOMINION provides Guaranteed Operation Services throughout the warranty period, ensuring the reliability and availability of the system.
